4 Agreements Impeccable Your Word

I really enjoy reading the Four Accords, and as always, I love their down-to-earth thoughts about it. You and your authenticity really speak to me, and I appreciate it very much. You are welcome! I love reading here about your journey with an awareness of yourself. Pain is only triggered by what lives in us, when we let it go, we have more emotional control over ourselves. You`re definitely on the right track – knowing your models is a big step! I`m glad my work helps you when you learn more about yourself. XOXO The first agreement is to be “impeccable with your word”. It sounds very simple, but it`s very, very powerful. Why your word? Your Word is the power you must create. Your Word is the gift that comes directly from God.

The Gospel of John in the Bible, which speaks of the creation of the universe, says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word is God.” Thank you for your comment. It means being impeccable with your word. 🙂 The list is supposed to include examples of when you are flawless and when you are not. Often we don`t say how we feel, so waking up next to your partner may not be something you would normally say as long as you share the “joy” of having them there. 🙂 I also reread this part and I think I could have written it a little more clearly. 🙂We are too often careless with our words. Usually, we don`t intend to hurt anyone, but we forget the power of words. The truth is that something cruel, when said casually, can have a lasting impact on a person`s life.

(Similarly, something said with truth, beauty, and kindness will also have a lasting effect.) Hello Antoinette! Thank you for sharing this, it`s about living a life of “real” meaning. The more honest we are with ourselves, the less others will expect us to pull the “old rope” they are used to. People are adaptable and when you take care of yourself through your words, actions, thoughts and feelings. everything changes. 🙂 Through the word, you express your creative power. Through the Word, you manifest everything. No matter what language you speak, your intention manifests itself through the word. What you dream, what you feel, and what you really are will manifest through the Word. Perhaps you can understand why the Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. According to many religions, nothing existed in the beginning, and the very first thing God created was the messenger, the angel, who delivers a message. You can understand the need for something that could transfer information from one place to another.

Sure, it seems like a bit complicated out of nowhere to nowhere, but it`s very simple at the same time. God created the Word, and the Word is a messenger. So, if God created the Word to deliver a message, and if the Word is a messenger, then you are: a messenger, an angel. Keep your eyes on your words and record them. Do this every day and you will start noticing patterns. In the book, Don Miguel Ruiz presents the idea that YOUR WORDS ARE MAGICAL. He goes on to explain that you can use your words for white magic; to create good in the world, or as black magic; create chaos and spread negativity. ACTION EXERCISE: Tell at least one person you care about how you feel about them. This should make you uncomfortable, so say something you don`t normally say (i.e. I love you, I appreciate you, you make me happy, I`m grateful for you, I love your laughter, etc.).

Go a step further by choosing someone you don`t usually express as a parent, sibling, friend or colleague. Whatever you say, make sure it`s true and focus on feeling it when you say it. Little by little, these agreements weaken you, like poison. We need to be aware that gossip is full of someone else`s motivations and perspectives. This can cause them to see the world incorrectly without you realizing it. I suggest creating two columns: one for times when you have respected the agreement, and one for occasions when you have not. You can do this at the end of the day or at the first hour of the morning thinking about the day before. And if you catch yourself in the act, write it down right away! If you have trouble remembering to check with yourself, set a reminder once or twice a day. The first and most important of the four agreements is to be impeccable with your word. The Word is your creative power, and that power can be used in more than one direction. One direction is perfection, where the word creates a beautiful story – your personal paradise on earth. The other direction is the abuse of speech, where speech destroys everything around you and creates your personal hell.

We go against ourselves all the time without realizing it. We say we want one thing, but we do the exact opposite. Because our subconscious wants to protect us, it will fall back on what is known and familiar, even if it is painful and not at all what we want. Then we fight and wonder why nothing works. This is because we created it with our own thoughts, words and actions. The fourth agreement allows readers to get a better overview of the progress made in achieving their life goals. This agreement includes the integration of the first three chords into everyday life and also the exhaustion of one`s own potential. [8] It is a question of doing one`s best individually, which is different from the different situations and circumstances that the individual may encounter. Ruiz believes that if you avoid self-judgment and do your best in every given moment, you will be able to avoid remorse. [10] By incorporating the first three chords and giving the best of himself in all facets of life, the individual will be able to live a life without grief or self-irony.

[10] I spent so much time in this scheme. It was only recently that I felt that I could disturb him, as if I wanted and had to disturb him. Part of it was getting to such a low place where I felt completely hopeless and almost resigned to it, joyless, task after task, walking in life, fulfilling obligations and numbing pain. I want more! Somehow, I came across your work at that time. It changes my attitude and helps me understand things I`ve never understood about myself. With this realization, there is hope that I will recharge myself and recharge my life. More than anything else, I want to know and be my authentic self. As a result, you start making NEW deals. When you understand this first agreement, you change the way you treat yourself, first the way you treat others naturally follows. 5) Practice adapting to yourself and asking yourself, “How am I feeling right now?” When you feel good, you think and speak with integrity and alignment. When you feel bad, you think and speak out of integrity. It`s easy to think with integrity – find thoughts that make you feel good to think and focus your attention only on them.

“Your beliefs become your thoughts. Your thoughts become your words. Your words become your deeds. Your actions become your habits. Your habits become your values. Your values become your destiny. Dear Tracey, this is an important lesson for all of us. It is very difficult not to hide behind a facade to keep the peace or be accepted. But in the end, we are just deceiving ourselves. Words are important and determine our actions and behavior with others and with ourselves. I will pay attention to my words and write the words that are in my head to carefully improve my relationships.

Thank you again for becoming aware of who we are and what we do. Antoinette Do you want to learn to connect with your integrity and truth? Try my Journaling in Alignment course today! God creates reality, and we recreate reality with the Word. The virtual reality we create is a reflection of reality; it is our interpretation of reality through the use of the word. Nothing can exist without the Word, for the Word is what we use to create all that we know. Want to know how to have a healthy relationship? Start by being impeccable with your word. Tell your truth. Even if it`s unpleasant. ESPECIALLY if it`s unpleasant. It`s a sign that you`re growing. In part 1 of this 2-part video, we learn about the “domestication” of man and how all the rules and values of our family and society are imposed on us by a system of punishment and reward. .
